Trying to super-size their character is a favorite pastime for manyWorld of Warcraftplayers, and one among them attempts to figure out what the theoretical limit is for a Tauren Warrior. While there is still a debate in the community about whether Tauren or perfectly upright Trolls are the tallestWorld of Warcraftrace, the Tauren are certainly the biggest character model by a wide margin. If players want to feel like a stampeding force of nature, then creating a Tauren of Highmountain or Mulgore descent is the way to go.

While it’s been a long time since the days of the Noggenfogger Elixir, all the different sources of size alteration have only emboldenedWorld of Warcraftplayers to experiment and figure out the most optimal way to achieve the smallest or biggest character size. Considering thatNPCs inWorld of Warcraftare famously taller the more important they are, one can’t fault the players for wanting to be toweringly tall. Thankfully, there’s a new buff inDragonflightto help them reach that goal.

By combining two stacks of Arcane Enlargement and the Avatar ability available to all Warriors who select the talent, Semour9 was able to achieve a veritably colossal size on their Tauren Warrior, posting it to the officialWorld of Warcraftsubreddit and using a blood elf for scale. While Semour9’s attempt is no doubt a good starting point, the character model can still be enlarged by a plethora of other sources. To name a few, the Elixir of Giant’s Growth, and a Shaman from the same party casting a Bloodlust will increase the size considerably. Moreover, the maximum amount of stacks that Arcane Enlargement can reach is four.

The more obscure options to further increase the size lie in using the Vrykul Drinking Horn or Mr. Smite’s Brass Compass, as it turns the player character into a larger Tauren model than the currently playable one. While Tauren Warriors no doubt have an advantage with the Avatar talent, the recently addedTauren Rogues inWorld of Warcraftmay be an even better option due to their Pickpocketing ability. Using a Glyph of Disguise, they could theoretically steal the appearance of any large humanoid enemy from a raid, and then stack up all the size-increasing buffs, such as the Experimental Anima Cell, preferably while in the heart of Valdrakken or Orgrimmar.

Inspired by all the suggestions in their thread, Semour9 promised to find a way to further max out the Tauren Warrior’s size. Considering how abysmal the affixes have been at the start ofDragonflight’s Mythic Season 1, many would agree that chasing unorthodox ways to have fun inWorld of Warcrafttrumps spendingthree hours in the Ruby Life Pools dungeon.
