A newWorld of Warcraftweapon might have just teased a new location players will visit soon. In addition to looking awesome, this flavorful new item could be a hint at something exciting inWorld of Warcraft’s future.Recently,World of Warcraftannounced a release date for Patch 10.1.5, Fractures in Time. This mid-season update brings an impressive amount of content to the table, including several quality of life features, daily world content, and a time-twisting megadungeon called Dawn of the Infinite.RELATED:World of Warcraft Adding A Huge Cross-Realm Quality of Life FeatureWithin this dungeon, players will face off against the Primal Incarnate Iridikron and the Infinite Dragonflight as they seek to unravel and rewrite the fabric of time.World of Warcraftplayers can collect Divergent weaponswith old stats like Spirit and new ones like Demonbane. One such weapon is The Infinite Hand, which drops from an Infinite-corrupted version of Tyr and has a unique ability that grants a powerful buff to the wielder, but only in Titan facilities.

Players are well-acquainted with Uldaman, Ulduar, Uldum, and Uldir, as all of them appear as zones, dungeons, andraids fromWorld of Warcraft’shistory. Though Uldorus may not sound familiar, it is the official name of Tyrhold, where the Halls of Infusion dungeon is located. Uldaz, however, has not appeared in game yet, and has only been mentioned once before inBattle for Azeroth.

The fact this weapon is directly mentioned by a weapon’s effect could meanWorld of Warcrafthas plans for Uldaz in the future. The facility’s location and purpose is unknown, soWoWcould put it anywhere. That said, Benoit Blanka, aWorld of Warcraftdeveloper responsible for creating this item, seemed to indicate they included Uldaz as an Easter egg, which suggests it may just be a nod to established lore. Either way, players got a kick out of it, and while the ability is not useful in much current endgame content right now, it is extremely flavorful.

World of Warcraftplayers interested in collecting other awesome weapons are in luck when Patch 10.1.5 drops. After 10 years,WoWis finally letting players get Gorehowl’shigh-resolution model introduced inMists of Pandariafrom Dawn of the Infinites. Through this megadungeon, as well as the reality-hopping Time Rifts, players will be able to collect cosmetics, mounts, and Dragonriding drake customizations, making July 11 the perfect time for players to see whatWorld of Warcrafthas to offer.

World of Warcraftis available now for PC.
