World of Warcrafthas officially begun Season 1 ofDragonflight. With Season 1,Dragonflight’sMythic dungeons and raid tiers have officially started, and new open-world and PvP content are now available inWorld of Warcraft.
DragonflightSeason 1 marks theopening of the Vault of the Incarnates raid. Raszageth has broken into the ancient prison of the Primal Incarnates and seeks to release them upon the world. Players can challenge the eight new bosses in the Vault of the Incarnates in mythic, heroic, and normal difficulties, culminating in a final encounter with Raszageth herself.

The first season of Mythic+ dungeons has also begun. Players can tackle high-difficulty Mythic versions of the Ruby Life Pools, The Nokhud Offensive, the Azure Vault, and Algeth’ar Academy fromDragonflight, plus a selection of dungeons from former expansions.World of Warcraftis also introducing the Thundering Affixfor these dungeons, which periodically overcharges players with Raszageth’s storm magic, stunning them if they do not discharge the power in time.
In the overworld, players can tackle four world bosses who appear on a weekly rotation across the Dragon Isles, each of whom drops powerful gear for players to collect. Additionally,DragonflightSeason 1 begins a new world event called Primal Storms. ThisDragonflightversion of the Pre-Expansion event, Tempest Unleashed, consists of elemental invasions across the Dragon Isles. Every six hours, a two-hour-long invasion will commence, giving players the chance to earn currencies to purchase gear, battle pets, profession recipes, and the Unstable Elemental Confluence Heirloom from the pre-patch event.
A new PvP season has also begun withDragonflightSeason 1. Players can earn new titles, mounts, Dragonriding appearances, and gear as they battle other players across several arenas, including the new Nokhudon Proving Grounds. With the return of the Great Vault as well, players have plenty of reasons todive into PvP inDragonflightwith Season 1.
The race to World First for the Mythic version of Raszageth is already underway, with players plowing through the normal version of the Vault of the Incarnates. Unlike many otherWorld of Warcraftraids, players did not get to see the Raszageth encounter during theDragonflightbeta or on the PTR, so everyone is going into the raid blind.
