A woman recently shared her husband’sDungeons and DragonsandWarhammerminiature collection on social media, most of which were collected and painted during his free time for the last 48 years. This collection includes literally hundreds if not thousands of miniatures that can be used intabletop games likeD&D, and it looks quite impressive.

TheDungeons and Dragonsfranchise is almost 50 years old at the moment, spawningmany memorableD&Dcampaigns, and releasing a countless number of miniatures over the years. In fact, people were collecting and painting their own minis even before the game existed, as they were widely used in war games since the 1950s. However, it’s quite rare to see someone that bought and painted so many miniatures over such a long period and still stored essentially all of them for all this time.

A few days ago, a woman named Becky F. posted a huge collection of minis painted by her husband, an old-timeD&DandWarhammerfan. The TikTok post contains a fairly short 8-second video clip, which showcases an immense collection that could be a dream come true for many tabletop RPG fans. In the video, Becky states that her husband started the collection when he was only 14 years old. He may be 62 now but still paints these minis during the night as a hobby.

Most people in the comments of the post were impressed by the size of the collection and the devotion that her husband had to this hobby after so many decades, as it’s hard to find manyexamples of huge collections ofD&Dminiatures. A user called Ariel Carlesi even implied that the couple could make a ton of money selling these minis, but that doesn’t seem to be what Becky has in mind. According to her, these miniatures represent a whole lifetime of memories, so they’re essentially priceless treasures. Fortunately, anyone who wishes to see more of the collection can browse Becky’s profile and see other videos, which include some clips of her husband while he paints, as well as more videos showing the miniatures in detail.

Unfortunately, not all hobby items are as well taken care of as the ones made by Becky’s husband. A few months ago, for instance, a TikToker called Girthy_Canoediscovered a rare 1983 Tom Meier figurinestored within the rim of a spare tire of an old car. She then cleaned the mini from the grease, as well as the dice, but was unable to discover who originally owned these rare items.
