InGrounded, you will need to collect a number of disgusting items to concoct armor, weapons, food, shelter, and a variety of other items. One of the grosser items that needs to be collected in order to make some required items is some toenails.
There are several different locations you can find these in, but there are three where you can nab them up pretty easily. These are all very dangerous locations, so you will need to be heavily armored and be ready to take down some incredibly challenging enemies to get there in thisbase-building survival game.
Locations for Toenails in Grounded
There are three good, easy locations to grab some toenails in thiscasual survival game. The first is theashtray, the second is thebroken pipenearby, and the third is on thestump. All these locations are in theupper right-hand part of the map, in the upper grasslands. These require you to climb up far to the left of the map, then run back across. This will take a while, and there will be a large number of dangerous critters, so you will need to be well-prepared beforehand.
Ashtray Location
The ashtray will have the largest amount of toenails inside of it. It is located on the porch area in the upper part of the map, to the west of the stump. You need to climb up onto the chair via the baseball bat, then float across to the side table. Climb up the nail clipper to get inside the ashtray and mine those toenails.
Broken Pipe Location
This broken pipe is located east of the ashtray location. Around here you can find loads of mushrooms and a white PVC pipe with a big crack in it. There is one toenail inside that can be mined.
Stump Location
Last but not least is the Stump location, which is further east and a little north of the broken pipe location. There is one toenail about halfway up the stump on the northwest corner of it. Pick it up to help youcraft in this survival game.
How Often Do Toenails Respawn in Grounded?
You can find new toenails insideGroundedevery two in-game days. That’s a fairly quick respawn timer, which means that you will be able to nab up enough toenails for all the required recipes, including the treat recipes for the Fire Ant Queen added inGroundedupdate 1.4. One toenail is needed for each of the three Toejam sandwiches, one of which will befriend the Queen, one will kill her, and the third secret option that can also be made.
