There’s a main questline to follow inDragon’s Dogma 2, but going off the beaten path will allow you to uncover all sorts of side quests and little secrets. Completing these quests will not only net you precious XP to level up yourself andyour Pawnsbut also useful items and gear. In this guide, we’ll show you how to complete the’Oxcart Courier' quest that players can start in Vernworth.
How to Start the ‘Oxcart Courier’ Quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Head to the North Vernworth Oxcart Station, located in Vernworth, of course. Standing right by the bench/Oxcart station is a man namedDonovanwith gray hair and red attire. He mentions that he’s been holding off on using the Oxcart service because of some trouble being caused out on the roads by monsters.
Donovan’s quest requires you to deliver aLetter to Ser Lennartfrom Lady Margit, the watchhead’s wife, toSer Lennart in Melve. You’ll need to utilize the Oxcart business and accompany them to Melve, defeating any monsters that may attack the party.
Donovan will give you 200 Gold and the Letter to Ser Lennart.
Where to Find Lennart in Dragon’s Dogma 2
We traveled to Melve by paying some Gold to the Oxcart. You would think that Lennart would be in his house marked on the map, but we actually found him speaking toanother NPC infront of the local inn/resting bench.

He has gray hair swooped over to one side of his head and a gray mustache shaped like an upside-down U.
It’s worth noting that this quest has the glowing hourglass icon, which means its outcome can be affected by time. We managed to complete the quest with no issues, but if we find out what happens if you take too long, we’ll make sure to update this guide.
Reward for Completing Oxcart Courier
Once you report back to Donovan at the northern Oxcart station, the NPC will thank you for getting the cart to its destination safely and soundly. The following will be obtained as a reward:
5000 Gold
Miner’s Hosen
The Miner’s Hosen are “work boots refashioned from more durable materials for enhanced protection and a better fit.” Its defense is 213; its Magick Defense is 65; its Slash Res is 1; its Strike Resistance is 0; and its Knockdown Resistance is 105.
