Call of Dutygames are perhaps known for their incredible amount of detail, and the level based on Amsterdam is no exception. This is not the first time Infinity Ward has attempted to make accurate recreations of known locations, either, as it recreated Piccadilly Circus in aCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremap called Piccadilly. Fans interested in checking out the highly-detailed Amsterdam level can playMW2’s campaign today if they purchase the game.
It looks like Activision’s decision to offer early access to the campaign was a big success.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2appears to be a hit on Steam, as it boasted an impressive 90,000 concurrent peak player count, the third highest in the series.
