Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansongeventually has players facing off against the Second Inquisition, with Galeb infiltrating their headquarters with the intention of assassinating their leader. Visiting their Treasure Department can lead to a confrontation with Joseph Manneh, a surprisingly friendly and non-hostile SI member who believes that “Vampires are also creatures of God,” and might be persuaded to assist Galeb.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansongis a narrative RPG developed by Big Bad Wolf and published by Nacon. Set in the World of Darkness, the game throws players into the politics and subterfuge of Vampire society in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.

Entering the Archives
In order to meet with Joseph Manneh, players will need to progress through the SI headquarters until arriving at the entrance to the Treasure Department.
Once there, players should explore the archives and read the notes and documents scattered about. Attempting to speak to Joseph Manneh will cause a nearby SI member to inform Galeb about his habits.
Joseph locks himself inside the Treasure Department’s Conservation Room when restoring documents and books, not leaving until his work is done. However, he does have to approve any book requests personally, and a note near the request terminal in the back room reveals that he will personally oversee requests for books that are currently being restored.
How to get Joseph out of the Conservation Room
In order to lure out Joseph Manneh, players will need totake advantage of the book request terminalin the back room of the archives.
Of course, most of these books will be sent automatically without his involvement beyond approving the request, but a note near the terminal indicates thathe will personally oversee requests for books that he is restoring.
A quick examination of the bookindicates that the last word in its title is “faith” and that It was written by “Dr. …..” to identify the book, players should check the note on the right-hand side of the archives, through the door on the right.
This is a list of recommendations for different topics, with the section on “Faith” recommending the works of “Dr. Seamus Sloan.” Checking the works of Dr. Seamus Sloan in the list of books contained in the Conservation room will reveal that"Guardians of the Faith" is the only book by Dr. Seamus Sloan whose title ends with the word “Faith.”
Request this book using the code “8070” to get Father Joseph to come to meet with Galeb.Seems he knows Galeb is a vampire though, which might be a problem.
Winning the Confrontation with Joseph Manneh
Luckily,Joseph seems quite cordial and happy to speak with Galeb, allowing an opportunity to convince him that the Second Inquisition needs to be stopped. Galeb will attempt to convince him to help, beginning a confrontation.
Galeb will need aneducation skill of at least 2to win the first round, pointing out the Inquisition’s long history of destroying “heretics” without mercy or consideration. Then, point out that his allies would consider him a heretic to win the second round as well.
Apsychology skill of 3, or a boost from willpower to make up the difference, is needed to win the third round by defending against his follow-up statement. To win the final round,use presenceto convince Joseph that killing Stanford is the right thing to do.
By winning this confrontation, Galeb secures an ally inside the Second Inquisition and gains some useful intel about how to access the implant tracker back near the entrance, allowing Galeb to locate Stanford.
