AsGenshin Impactplayers journey deeper into the Underground Chasm, Jinwu will tell them about a miner that went missing many years ago. His name is Uncle He, and Jinwu believes that he’s still alive. Therefore,the first thing Travelers will need to dowhen they reach the Underground Chasm is find clues about Uncle He’s whereabouts.

These clues are called Diary Fragments, and they hold the hints to finding Uncle He. However, after reading all the Fragments, players have to find the missing miner themselves. This article will show where Travelers can find Uncle He inGenshin Impact.
Diary Fragment Locations In Genshin Impact
To find Uncle He’s Diary Fragments inGenshin Impact, players simply have to follow the markings on the map. The first Diary Fragment can be found on top of a crate. Nearby, there’s a Geovishap ready to strike.
Some Treasure Hoarders will be lurking around the second Diary Fragment. The item is on a box near a Lumenlamp.
The third Diary Fragment is located near the second one. There are a bunch of Treasure Hoarders next to it, so it should be easy to find. Like the second Fragment, there’s a Lumenlamp next to it.
The third Diary showcases how Uncle He is seeing things that aren’t real. However, like all the other diaries, UncleHe mentions mushrooms enough timesto prove that he’s intoxicated by fungi.
After finding the three Diary Fragments, players should go back to Jinwu and update her. She’ll then ask the Traveler to head back to the encampment. Once players report back to Jinwu, the quest will end.
Uncle He’s Location In Genshin Impact
To find Uncle He’s location inGenshin impactand trigger the Missing Miner Quest, players should head to the Underground Waterway in The Underground Chasm. Travelers can find Uncle He even before revealing The Chasm’s map inGenshin Impact, but it will be a blind journey.
To reach Uncle He’s location in the Underground Waterway,use the Teleport Waypoint southof The Chasm Main Mining Area. Then, glide down to the tunnel that leads to the center of the Underground Chasm.
There, Travelers have to find a large log and enter it. On the table, there’s a Work Handbook to examine. Interacting with the Work Handbook inside the log will cause a man to suddenly appear. Paimon will ask if he’s Uncle He, and he’ll answer with a “yes.”
After a short talk, players will get theNot For Long-Term ConsumptionGenshin ImpactAchievement.
Next, follow Uncle He and defeat some enemies to get him some “Mushroom meats.” Then, head back to meet with Jinwu at the explorer’s camp. After the long conversation, players will be rewarded with 30 Primogems and two Hero’s Wits.
