Exciting Transformers Gameplay
One of the biggest places thatWar for CybertronandFall of Cybertronstood out was in its gameplay. Both games were heavily influenced by third-person shooters likeGears of War, but they put a uniquelyTransformersspin on things by giving players the option to switch between vehicle and robot form. This mechanic played heavily into both combat and traversal, and with the suite of diverse weapons spread through both games, players had a lot of freedom to approach the game how they wanted. On top of it all, each Autobot and Decepticon in the game had their own special roles and abilities that made them all feel unique.
A Big Next-Gen Opportunity For Transformers
Gameplay specifics aside, a remaster ofTransformers: War for CybertronandFall of Cybertronwould have an excellent opportunity with the newest generation of consoles. The colorful visuals of each Transformer, along with the explosive action of each game, could look absolutely breathtaking on the graphicalhardware of the PS5or Xbox Series X.Transformersalso has yet to get another major game since the early part of the last generation’s lifecycle.
