It’s unclear exactly why this is, but it’s an unfortunate revelation, to say the least. Hardcore trophy hunters may now be tempted to pick up the PS4 version ofTomb Raider 1-2-3 Remasteredinstead, even though they may be playing on a PS5.
The good news is that the experience should still be basically the same regardless if one is playing on PS4 or PS5. Trophy hunters would be missing out on some PS5 exclusive features, likeDualSense’s haptic feedback, but the general gameplay experience should still be the same regardless of platform. And while the collection’s lack of any Platinum trophies may disappoint PS5 players, it otherwise seems like old-schoolTomb Raiderfans have a lot to look forward to on February 14.
