Summary

Baldur’s Gate 3earned various rewards and accolades for the way theDungeons & Dragons-based character creation process was applied to the setting and gameplay. Character creation and progression are some of the main features of one of history’s most successful RPGs, and options include various items that help to strengthen and take advantage of a character’s most important Ability Scores.

Charisma is a crucial spellcasting modifier for Paladins, Warlocks, Sorcerers, and Bards. The higher it is the better the chance or amount of damage depending on the nature of the spell. Players should also keep in mind that Charisma is a unique Ability Score that also determines how NPCs and Companions interact with their Tav or Durge, which includes lower prices at merchants and taverns.

Updated July 01, 2025, by Kristy Ambrose:Items that bolster Charisma are incredibly valuable and should be picked up by any of the classes that scale with the stat. There are a ton of different items inBaldur’s Gate 3, some of which directly relate to Charisma, and either increase the stat or use an ability or condition directly related to it. Although the better part of the game development is over, Patch 8 is a fairly big addition that Larian plans to drop in 2025. There may be a few more items to boost Charisma included in the new content.

12Gibus Of The Worshipful Servant

Sold By Helisk In The Devil’s Fee Or Dropped By Sceleritas

Some classes that use charisma are already more mobile than others, with increased movementto get closer to foes. Even still, the ability to obtain some extra movement is a welcome bonus, allowing players to traverse a battlefield more easily, and the Gibus of the Worshipful Servant grants such a boon.

Movement, and by relation momentum, is a crucial feature ofBaldur’s Gate 3, and gifting characters with more of it equal to their charisma modifier can be very strong. Bards, Warlocks, Sorcerers, and paladins will be the prime candidates for the item, given that they use the stat. Aside from extra movement, the item also gives Advantage on constitution saving throws, which is a nice little bonus.

BG3 Harmonic Dueller in-game item menu description

11Harmonic Dueller

Bought From Entharl Danthelon

The first class most people will likely associate rapiers with will be warlocks given Wyll’s penchant for using them. While it is common that rapiers are used on spellblade classes, theHarmonic Duellercan still be a worthwhile acquisition regardless, given its class actions that let characters use their charisma modifier to deal bonus damage depending on how high the stat is.

As Warlocks and Bards are two of the most used classesto wield rapiers, the Harmonic Dueller can be valuable to them. As the two classes utilize charisma as their main stat, the bonus damage from the Harmonic Dueller becomes a strong ability.

She and some other Hag Survivors are staying in Old Garlow’s House, and when the party finds her and undoes the most recent fey curse that’s been placed on the whole house, the story continues.

If Ethel is successfully freed, and the other child that she’s stolen also survives, the reward is theFey Semblance Amulet. This very rare accessory benefits Intelligence and WIsdom as well as Charisma saving throws, making it a powerful item that definitely belongs in Act 3.

BG3 Infernal Rapier in-game item menu description

7Infernal Rapier

A Reward For Wyll’s Personal Quest

TheInfernal Rapierdoesn’t immediately have any abilities that directly pinpoint the use of charisma, but it does use the wielder’s spellcasting modifier for attack rolls. As it isrewarded from Wyll’s questline, and that warlocks and bards are the most likely classes to wield rapiers, the weapon can benefit well from highCcharisma investment.

As it uses the spellcasting modifier of the user, which would most likely be charisma, it can further the amount of damage dealt by classes wielding it by a good portion, making it a valuable acquisition. BG3 Potent Robe in-game item menu description

6Potent Robe

A Reward For Completing “Rescue the Tieflings” In Act 2

Warlocks and Sorcerers are the primary classes that utilize magic in conjunction with Charisma, so having an item that deals extra damage via Cantrips equal to their Charisma modifier is extremely powerful. Bards and Paladins also use charisma, but Warlocks and Sorcerers will be the main classes to use thePotent Robe.It also gifts temporary hit points equal to the Charisma modifier at the beginning of a turn.

The ability to deal extra damage is an amazing bonus, making the robe a no-brainer to obtain, especially given Warlocks are already powerful andutilize cantrips heavily, with Sorcerers also being extremely strong. The temporary hit points bonus is a beneficial ability, as both classes are more glass canons, with not as much health or defense compared to others.
