To the uninitiated,Watch Dogs Legionis set in post-Brexit London and revolves around the hacker group called DedSec. The group’s primary objective is to liberate the city of its Big Brother dystopian system while clearing its name after being framed for a series of bombings. One of the unique features ofWatch Dogs Legion isthe ability to recruit and control any NPC in the game to complete missions. Each playable character inWatch Dogs Legionwill have their own unique skills and abilities, and it is up to the player to form the perfect group of operatives to accomplish certain missions.
Alongside all the content that Ubisoft has jampacked intoWatch Dogs Legion, the studio also plans to include a free online co-op mode in the game. Unfortunately, Ubisoft confirmed several days ago thatthe multiplayer component ofWatch Dogs Legionwould be delayedfor the time being. Initially, the online multiplayer mode was scheduled to release on December 3, but due to some bugs and glitches found in the single-player mode, Ubisoft has decided to push back the multiplayer’s release date to early 2021.
Despite the multiplayer delay,Watch Dogs Legion’ssingle-player mode still offers plenty of content that will probably take players hours upon hours to complete. Recently, Ubisoft released update 2.20 to all platforms, which have sinceaddressed some bugs and platform-specific issues, alongside the addition of performance improvements and quality-of-life upgrades. In a statement, Ubisoft promised that “the dev team is committed to fixing these issues and will not stop until everyone can experience the game as intended.”
