A job listing on Sucker Punch’s website hints that a sequel forGhost of Tsushimamay be in the works. The studio is seeking to hire a new narrative writer, with one of the requirements being a “desire to write stories set in feudal Japan,” and “knowledge of feudal Japan history.” This seems like a strong indicator that new content forGhost of Tsushimacould be on the way. This doesn’t necessarily mean that a full-blown sequel for the game is in development but could mean that more DLC content, or a separate standalone game set in the same world, is on the way.

After so many years in development, it makes sense that Sucker Punch would want to bring more content to theGhost of Tsushimaworld. The success ofGhost of Tsushimahas led to many fans asking for more games set in historical Japan, with many wondering whether theAssassin’s Creedfranchise will tackle it next.
