ACall of Duty: Warzone 2player has clipped the strange moment in which the helicopter they’re flying across Al Mazrah randomly explodes due to a supposed glitch.Call of Duty: Warzone 2players have been spotting glitches in the battle royale since it launched in November, something that was a common theme in the original installment as well, but this helicopter glitch could be among the most deadly.
A Reddit user recently posted aCall of Duty: Warzone 2video where the player is flying across the Al Mazrah battle royale map in a helicopter, one of the many vehicles available in the game. Unlike mostCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2multiplayer playlists,Warzone 2fans have access to vehicles like the cargo truck, light helo, and ATV, but players have noticed multiple glitches associated with the modes of transportation. Because of the incredible size ofCall of Duty: Warzone 2’s map, many players resort to using vehicles even with the glitches they may cause, which result in hilarious moments like this helicopter explosion.

Reddit user Latenitelover has received 1,200 upvotes on theirWarzone 2clip in which one of theCall of Dutyhelicopters is affected by a glitch that causes it to suddenly blow up. Latenitelover’s video begins with the player having already taken off in theWarzone 2helicopter, and they appear to be coming in for a landing in Sawah Village, which they fail to do because of the issues they encounter. Just as an enemy and their parachute seemingly fly into view briefly as they land in Sawah Village before Latenitelover, the helicopter that the player is soaring through the Al Mazrah airspace suddenly explodes.
According to the finalCall of Dutyscreen that Latenitelover received after being killed by the helicopter but before being sent toWarzone 2’s Gulag, the player was actually defeated by an enemy. Eagle-eyedCall of Dutyfans have spotted the player that seemingly defeated Latenitelover who fired an RPG from the top of one of the buildings, but the speed at which the helicopter blew up after the shot was fired may be unbalanced. Based on the footage posted by Latenitelover, the helicopter seems to explode immediately after the RPG is shot, where normally it would take a couple of moments which could give aWarzone 2player time to respond.
Because Latenitelover’sCall of Dutyclip concludes before the player spawns into the Gulag, it’s currently unclear if the player was ejected from the battle royale due to the helicopter glitch. Given that a player can earn their way back toCall of Duty: Warzone 2’s Al Mazrahafter winning a match in the Gulag, Latenitelover may have only hit a roadblock with the issue highlighted by their video.
