“Stone Cold” Steve Austin has been hailed as the biggest box office draw in WWE history, and for good reason. Austin’s legendary run in theAttitude Erahelped spark a wrestling boom period that saw record attendance, pay-per-view buys, merchandise sales, and ratings. Austin recently returned to the ring to fight Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38 and deliver some Stone Cold Stunners to Mr. McMahon, Austin Theory, and Pat McAfee, but most of the time he can be seen on hisBroken Skull Sessionspodcast.
Austin’sBroken Skull Sessionsvideo podcast can be found on Peacock in the United States and on theWWE Networkelsewhere. Each episode has Austin discussing the wrestling industry with special guests, and it’s known for being rather candid and exploring topics that WWE would usually avoid. This coming Friday, May 6 will see the newly-returned Cody Rhodes appear onBroken Skull Sessions, and to give fans a teaser of what to expect, a short video of Austin asking Rhodes rapid-fire 30-second questions has been uploaded to the official WWE YouTube channel.

In the video, Austin asksCody Rhodesabout a variety of topics, like his favorite fast food burger, favorite wrestling match, and more. What may be of particular interest to gamers, though, is the first question Austin asks, as it has to do withThe Legend of Zelda.
Cody Rhodes is a noted fan ofThe Legend of Zelda, having featured the Triforce on his wrestling gear and claiming to replayA Link to the Pastonce every year. Austin asked Rhodes what he thinks the bestZeldagame is, and surprisingly, Rhodes didn’t pickA Link to the Past. On the contrary, Rhodes selectedThe Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timeas the bestZeldagame, even going as far as to say that it was “hands down” the best.
However, it seems Stone Cold Steve Austin disagrees with Rhodes about the bestZeldagame. In response to Rhodes pickingOcarina of Timeas thebestZeldagame, Austin said that it was actuallyBreath of the Wild. It’s unclear if Austin is really much of a gamer in reality or if he was just making conversation, but it’s an interesting exchange regardless.
Looking ahead, WWE fans can expect to see Austin host more episodes ofBroken Skull Sessions, while Rhodes can be found on WWE Raw every Monday night. Rhodes will be facing hisWrestleMania 38 opponent Seth Rollinsin a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, so fans have that to look forward to as well.
