SteelSeries and KontrolFreek announced their partnership with Bungie to release officialDestiny 2gear ahead of its upcoming expansion,Lightfall. The limited-edition collection will bear the colors ofDestiny 2: Lightfall’snew city Neomuna so that players can customize their gaming gear to represent their favorite game.
Destiny 2: Lightfallis set to release on February 28, bringing various new content to Bungie’s MMO FPS. Players will be able to explore the human city of Neomuna on Neptune, take on new missions, and discover two new dungeons and a new raid later this year. This seventh expansion forDestiny 2will also come with four seasons of content, starting with Season of Defiance uponLightfall’s release and ending with an unnamed season scheduled for Winter 2023.

To celebrate theupcoming release ofDestiny 2: Lightfall, SteelSeries and KontrolFreek teamed up with Bungie to unveil a limited edition of gaming gear inspired byDestiny 2. The manufacturers release themed versions of the Arctis 7+ headset, Aerox 5 wireless gaming mouse, QcK Prism XL mousepad, and KontrolFreek thumbsticks forDestiny 2players. All customers will also receive exclusive in-game content, such as cosmetics elements, emotes, and emblems.
The Arctis 7+ headset is compatible with PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, meaningallDestiny 2players can use it on their preferred platform. This wireless headset features over 30 hours of battery life and comes with a custom Sonar Audio Software Suite equalizer preset that improves the sound of all games.Destiny 2players who do not wish to purchase the Arctis 7+ headset can still download this audio software for free on SteelSeries’ official website.
SteelSeries releases aDestiny 2: Lightfalledition of its Aerox 5 wireless gaming mouse inspired by Neptune’s human city of Neomuna. The QcK Prism XLDestiny 2: LightfallEdition mousepad helps improve mouse accuracy with micro-woven cloth optimized for low and high DPI, all while displaying the colors of thecyberpunk city of Neomunathrough a two-zone RGB dynamic illumination.
Players who would rather play with a controller than a mouse can purchase the KontrolFreek Destiny 2: Lightfall Edition Performance Thumbsticks toimprove the default joysticks of PlayStationand Xbox controllers. These thumbsticks help improve accuracy and decrease hand fatigue by reducing the amount of force required for movements. Players can also customize their Arctis Nova Pro series and Nova 7 series headsets with a limited edition ofDestiny 2speaker plates and headband.
Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. TheLightfallexpansion is set to launch on all platforms on February 28.
