Indicite Wafers are one of the rarer types of manufactured components inStarfield, and they’re commonly used in some of the game’s more advanced crafting and research projects. Players may not need huge amounts of these items, but it’s a good idea to have at least a couple dozen of them in store should the need arise.

Many resources inStarfieldcan be harvested from planets. However, this isn’t the case for Indicite Wafers and most other materials in its category. Getting these shouldn’t be too hard, though, but this all depends on where players go to look for them.

Where to Find Indicite Wafers in Starfield

The easiest way to find Indicite Wafers is to visit one of the many stores in the Settled Systems. General goods stores and dedicated resource shops (like Midtown Minerals in Akila City) tend to have huge stocks of resources, and there’s a good chance that Indicite Wafers are included in them.

Some of the most convenient general goods stores include:

Trade Authoritystores found in human settlementsalso have wide assortments of stuff for sale, and they’re always worth paying a visit to whenever players find themselves starved of resources. These can be located in the faction capital cities as well as some outposts and space stations likeCydonia on Marsand the Den in the Wolf System.

Unbeknownst to many players, somepassing ships can be traded with. Their inventories tend to be more random compared to dedicated stores, but they’re worth checking out if players find themselves with a sudden need for Indicite Wafers or other raw materials.

Outside of trading, Indicite Wafers can be found randomly in storage containers or as loose loot blending in with other pieces of junk in human-occupied territories. They don’t appear to have specific spawn points, though players have a higher chance of finding them in chests guarded by high-level enemies. They may also spawn in the cargo holds of hostile ships — instead of shooting enemy vessels down, consider boarding them for the extra chance at better loot.

Indicite Wafers cannot be crafted at Industrial Workbenches even if players level up the relevant skills or unlock manufacturing-related research projects. The same is true forSemimetal Wafers and other rare components.
