Reddit user Max-Lone is a patient enoughStarfieldplayer to earn six million creditsin one play-through. Proof of how patient this player is can be seen under the Hours Waited section, which shows that Max-Lone has waited 14914 hours for the vendors to restock their cash. In the comments section, Max-Lone mentioned that most of the credits were acquired by selling items to vendors.

For players who wish to makemillions of credits inStarfieldbut don’t want to spend most of their time waiting for vendors to restock, they’ll have to try some of the more traditional ways to make money. Credits can be earned by completing side quests, faction quests, building outposts, and checking out what the various job boards have to offer. Looting corpses and dead enemies is always a good way to find extra credits, as well.

For players with no patience at all, they can go the opposite route that Max-Lone did and use the puddle glitch. Thepuddle glitch is a bug inStarfieldthat’s found on the planet Akila in the Cheyenne system. In the front of Shepherd’s General Store, players will find two puddles, and when looking down the furthest one at the correct angle, players can see through the map, where they’ll find a chest stuffed with Emerson Shepherd’s sellable goods. Players can then sell the items they find in the chest for around 40,000 credits, and they can repeat this process every time the Akila City merchants restock their cash. There’s no telling how long Bethesda will allow this exploit to exist in the game, so players who want to try this trick should do so while it’s still possible.

Starfieldis available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
