On The Run and Surgical Strike are both Side Quests that belong to the Freestar Collective Faction inStarfield. Both missions allow players to investigate one of the two people responsible for the farmers' incident in Akila City.
While completingOn The Run Side QuestinStarfield, players will come across a challenge labeled as the Red Mile, where only the bravest of souls may enter and come back alive. To receive some crucial information, make sure to come prepared to participate in the Red Mile Challenge.

On The Run Walkthrough In Starfield
The Red Mile is found in thePorrima Systemon thePorrima IIIPlanet inStarfield. Upon landing, speak withAutumn MacMillanwho introduces players to an acquaintance of her namedJade. The latter suggests a method to gain an interview withMarco Graziani; enter the Red Mile challenge and win to receive a favor fromMei Devine, who’s in close contact with Marco.
Approach the woman dressed in a red dress, which is Mei, and ask about the Red Mile. After she’s done talking, listen to her speech andstand near the door that saysRun.
How To Survive The Red Mile In Starfield
Many enemies will drop valuable items, so make sure to empty some space before beginning. Also, there will be a decent amount of enemies, so stock up on some Ammo and Meds to run through the challenge smoothly. Once everything is ready, take the elevator and head out to startthe Red Mile inStarfield.
At first, everything will seem relatively easy with one enemy guarding the open crates. However, people will start fighting these creatures in groups later on as they approach the final line.
Finally, after going through waves of enemies, interact with thePedestalat the very top and prepare to fight creatures all over again along the way back. Alternatively, players can ignore them and dash to the elevator to go back without extra effort.
After returning alive, Mei keeps her part of the deal and reveals Marco’s location. The crime boss is waiting patiently inside hisFortunaforplayers to come and make an important decision.
Should You Kill Marco Graziani Or Let Him Go In Starfield
Upon landing near Fortuna,board the Ship inStarfieldand walk to the end to find Marco Graziani. There are several options players can follow to deal with the crime boss:
Kill Marco
Once players make their decision and acquire the Slate,return to Akila Cityand hand over the Slate to Alex Shadid.
If players decide to attack Marco, ensure to change the turrets’ friend/foe setting to make the fight easier.
