To celebrateStar WarsDay 2023,Amaury Guichontook to TikTok to share how they created a detailed chocolate stormtrooper helmet. Set to the tune of Mat Brook’s “Darth Vader,” the video shows Guichon carefully crafting the chocolate stormtrooper helmet mold in multiple steps. After completing the initial design, Guichon colors the chocolate helmet white, but the work is incomplete. Guichon continues to craft and color individual pieces, adding them to the initial design untilit resembles a stormtrooper helmet.
Guichon’s talents are not limited toStar Wars. The pastry chef’s TikTok account features several videos in which he creates stunningly detailed desserts. From chocolate velociraptors, a chocolate foosball machine tocelebrate the World Cup, and a dartboard cake, there is no denying Guichon is a master of their craft. Animal lovers may find themselves drawn to Guichon’s incredible chocolate kangaroo, fox, shark, or tiger designs, to name a few.
After Disney acquired Lucasfilm from Lucas, the House of Mouse began developing and releasingStar Warsprojects faster than fans were used to. After all, the original and sequel trilogies were released nearly twenty years apart, with only a handful ofStar Wars-related projects released in between. Since Disney acquired the franchise, there have been fiveStar Warsfilms, six television shows, another season ofStar Wars: The Clone Wars,and multiple shorts. This has led some fans to believethere isStar Warsoverloadand that the franchise longer feels special now that numerous projects are released each year.
However, creations like Guichon’s chocolate stormtrooper helmet prove there is still a passion forStar Wars. While there’s a lot ofStar Warscontent out there (perhaps too much for some), fan work like Guichon’s might bring a smile to some people and remind them why they still love the franchise.
