Star Citizen’s in-game events help to break up the monotony of normal missions. The Siege of Orison is a great example of this with achange of pace from standard mercenary or bounty-huntingendeavors inStar Citizen.
The Nine Tails gang has hijacked some of the platforms found in Orison and the player must remove the hostile forces and retake the admin platform. This is easily one of the more difficult missions especially if the player is attempting this alone. This guide will help players better understand these missions, the requirements, and how to properly prepare.

Preparation
Preparation is the key to enjoying all the content thatStar Citizenhas to offer. Bringing the wrong equipment to a mission can waste a lot of time and become frustrating for new players who don’t understand the core mechanics of the game. As Siege of Orison features some of the hardest on-foot gameplay available to players, they will need the correct preparation to get the job done effectively.
The player will need weapons that can eliminate enemies at close to medium range. The P4-AR is an awesome, consistent assault rifle that can take out most enemies in a few shots. Alongside this, running a sniper or shotgun can help players to become more dominant at specific ranges and make the most of the terrain and cover.

Ammo preservation is key. Bringing a few magazines won’t cut it for this and having excess ammo in a backpack will come in handy later in the mission. This said the player can pick up enemy weapons and ammo if this does become an issue.
Heavy armor will give the player a more forgiving experienceas they can take a few more hits before being put into a downed state. A heavy armor core will also allow the usage of a heavy backpack giving more space for items such as ammo as well as loot found around the platforms.

The player can set their spawn location to the hospital in Orisonmaking it easy to get back in the fight if they are unable to be revived. This will save a lot of time and only takes a few minutes to change the spawn. The persistence update of 3.18will allow players' equipment to stay in place if they are eliminated.
Finally, bringing an abundance of medical equipment will really help those who are less versed in ground combat. The stim pistol can help with self-healing as well as picking up downed teammates or players who may help the player along the way. It can be incredibly frustrating when a teammate goes down and there is no way to heal them due to the lack of equipment.

Accepting the Mission
To accept this mission, the player will need to open their Mobiglass and head over to the contracts manager tab. From here, the “priority” page will have the mission.
This will only be available when the event is active. If the mission isn’t in the contract manager this will be because the event has ended or isn’t currently active. Sometimes it can glitch, and the mission will not be available. There are a few ways to fix this. The player can either log out and back in or try jumping to Crusader as this can reset the contracts manager with new missions.
Traveling To The Siege
At first, it may be confusing as to where the siege is taking place as there is no hostile activity in the armistice zone of Orison. Instead, the player needs to take the skyway to the cloud view center and head to the Crusader showroom which is the tallest building.

From here they can take the elevator to the roof. This is where the shuttle to the first platform will pick up players to go to the first platform. Players will need to be ready as soon as they step off the skyway as there will be enemies just ahead.
Siege of Orison - Step by Step
To begin, the player will also want to pick up the “A Call To Arms” contract as this will give players more cash for each enemy they eliminate. Players will start at the Solanki platform where they will need to fight through enemy forces and eliminate the Lieutenant. He will drop a code that will unlock containers that either contains loot or a jammer.
Be careful not to shoot any friendlies here or Crusader security as it will give the player a crime statand possibly end up with them in prison.
Once this jammer is disabled, the team can move on to the next platform. Use the objective markers on the screen to reach the skyway stop and call for the shuttle. This can take a little while but sit tight and alert as enemies can approach this area.
On the second and third platforms, the players need to complete the same process as the first. Eliminate the lieutenants, retrieve the code, find the container, disable the jammer and move on. However, on the third platform, players won’t be using the skyway shuttles to head to the final platform, the admin center.
Look around for vehicles such as the Pieces orCrusader C2 cargo ship. The player will need to use these to reach the final platform. It’s purely down to the player which ship they take, but both have benefits and pitfalls. The larger C2 has more health but is less maneuverable whereas the Pieces is more vulnerable but can avoid oncoming fire due to the smaller target and faster movement.
Do not land on the empty side of the admin center but land further toward the buildings as the elevators here will allow access to all the objective markers. Complete the final objectives and eliminate the final enemy boss.Once this is complete the mission is done.
