The owner will ask the protagonist to find and deliver certain codes, but the method of finding them is a bit unusual in the video game world. Players must navigate outside ofScarlet Nexus.
The codes are coming from Musubi’s friend, a missing journalist. Mimi had informed Musubi that an assassin was hunting her down after getting her hands on important information. But after asking Musubi to hold onto the information, she vanished and has been missing for a week now. Now, Musubi is asking theOSFfor help in locating her friend and cracking some codes she leaving behind. At the end of their first message thread withKasane or Yuito, Musubi will text a random word, but that word is actually required to complete the quest.

Scarlet Nexus' First Hidden Codes
Finding the very first hidden code for Musubi inScarlet Nexusis quite easy. At the end of their brain message thread, they’ll text a random word: “CODE.” When speaking with Musubi in person for the first time, they’ll ask if any word stood out. Input the word “CODE” when prompted, and Musubi will give directions for finding the rest of the secret codes as well as 1,000 Kin.
Mimi has split up the passwords to the data into several pieces. She wants Musubi to crack the codes and decrypt the data, then expose “the syndicate” to the rest of the world for their crimes. However, the codes are hidden within theScarlet Nexusanime. One code will unluck per episode, and the anime will air for 13 episodes.
