ComicBook.com may have confirmed this project to beInjustice: Year Zeroearly, as the website has removed a post saying it was confirmed, and it remains uncertain whether DC is officially revealing the comic book series.

ComicBook.com posted an article claiming that three issues will be launched today, followed up by two new stories each month.Cover art by Julian Totino Tedescoalso leaked with an official DC Digital First branding and Tom Taylor’s name next to Tedesco’s and fellow artist Rogê Antônio. The cover saysInjustice: Year Zeroand features superheroes including Batman and The Flash caught up in battle.
Injustice: Year Zerois reportedly a prequel to theInjustice: Gods Among Uscomic book and video game, and will explain the events leading up to that story.TheInjustice: Gods Among Usvideo game did very well, standing out in its release year of 2017 as a financial success. ComicBook reportedly shared DC’s description ofYear Zeroas being the story of the Justice League’s predecessors and their fight during WWII to bring down a tyrant.

The first three digital chapters of the series were said to be going on sale today on ComiXology, Amazon, and other online retailers for a discounted bundle price of $2.49. As of writing this article, neither website shows a listing forInjustice: Year Zero.The reason for ComicBook removing the post is unclear, but one theory is that DC might be wanting to officially announce the series itself, as is reportedly its preference when digital copies of a series are immediately available for sale.
With theInjustice: Gods Among Usgame offered for freelast month, it looks like DC is trying to hype one of its most lucrative series, possibly in preparation forInjustice 3and theYearZerocomic book series. ComicBook’s removal of the post doesn’t guarantee thatInjustice: Year Zerowon’t be revealed officially by DC later, even if fans aren’t able to get their hands on digital copies right away.
