A leak revealed that the next class inDiablo Immortalmay be the Blood Knight, an old acquaintance of veteranDiabloplayers.Diablo Immortalis the first game in the series for mobile devices, but despite being a spin-off,Diablo Immortalis still set in theDiablouniverse.Set after the events of theDiablo 2: Lord of Destructionexpansion and before the start ofDiablo 3,Diablo Immortal’s timeline tells a storywhere humanity must deal with the consequences of Archangel Tyrael’s actions. After battling and defeating Baal, Archangel Tyrael is considered dead, and the fragments of the Worldstone have spread throughout the world. The main antagonist inDiablo Immortalis Skarn, a powerful demon who is also the final boss of the game’s main questline. Skarn’s goal is to gather the corrupted fragments of the Worldstone to resurrect Diablo and destroy the Sanctuary.RELATED:Blizzard Fined Over Diablo ImmortalAccording to leaker DataMineARPG, the newDiablo Immortalclass may be the Blood Knight, one of thecharacters from theDiablofranchisethat players saw in the first game. The Blood Knight is a variant of the Hell Knights and the last Knight class enemy found inDiablo 1. This character is dangerous even in small groups, mainly because of its immunity to spells and fire-based attacks. DataMineARPG shared an image that they say “clearly shows the Blood Knight” fighting enemies and highlighting the class crest. Previously Blizzard shared an image with the silhouette of a red-eyed character, but it has not yet been officially announced what the newDiablo Immortalclass will be.

Diablo Immortalhas six classes, those being Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard.Diablo Immortal’s new class will be added in July, with the leaker specifying a date of July 13. Another piece of info shared by DataMineARPG is that Blood Knight will be a strength-based class, a status that directly increases the physical damage dealt by the character. In addition to the new class, theupcomingDiablo Immortalupdatewill add a new zone called Ancient’s Cradle, a creepy island filled with new enemy types and rewards to earn in side quests.

Diablo Immortal’s launch was quite controversial because of the monetization system, causing Blizzard to be fined by PEGI. Nevertheless, the game will celebrate its first anniversary this year, and Blizzard is preparing a big celebration to putDiablo Immortalin a more positive light. Blizzard will add a new zone and class, and hold a bigcrossover betweenDiablo 4andDiablo Immortal, bringing a themed event and battle pass. In addition, Blizzard plans to delve into the origin story of Sanctuary throughDiablo Immortal’s new zone.
