WhenResident Evil 4remake players kill the final boss and start a New Game+ run, pretty much everything carries over except for key items and side quest progress. This means thatResident Evil 4remake players get to keep all their weapons, ammo, money, upgraded weaponry, healing items, and treasures. Considering this, there is little reason to worry about losing out on anything when starting aResident Evil 4remake New Game+ run. The game is built for players to endlessly replay, continuously expanding and upgrading Leon’s expansive arsenal.
There are some other things to keep into account when it comes toResident Evil 4remake’s New Game+, though. Anyone wanting to get an S+ rank in the game, which is necessary to unlock all theResident Evil 4remake achievements/trophies, should note that doing so is not impossible on New Game+ runs. While it seems like an extremely daunting task, this means that S+ is only available to those who are able to beat the game extremely fast with none of the New Game+ benefits or upgrades.
