Soldiers that are infected should be quarantined immediately, as they can spread the illness to others. Players with a keen eye will eventually notice that all the soldiers have the same thing in common - they speak Kikongo, which is a language spoken by the indigenous people of Congo.
The disease is spread by a vocal cord parasite, and it infects hosts depending on what language they speak. Quarantining all staff members who speak the language will bring a halt to the spread of the illness, saving Mother Base. The puzzle is an ingenious one, as it requires a bit of abstract thinking and attention to detail.
