Becoming one of the streaming scene’s biggest names, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has seen his success extended far beyond his broadcasts, becoming a playable character inFortnite, featuring in graphic novels, and providing voice work for TV shows. It seems he’s slated to add to that list of accolades in just a few days' time, with developer Plarium Games announcing he’s getting his very own character in its popular mobile RPG,Raid: Shadow Legends.
According to the studio, Ninja will be added as a Legendary Champion on July 16, with users needing to tune into the game once a day for seven days to officially unlock him. The promotion will last for three months, so they have plenty of time to ensure they bring the hero to their roster. It appears he’ll be far more than just a standard skin, with Plarium’s VP of Marketing, Noam Sagie, confirming in a statement that his Champion will offer “unique skill sets and special attacks.”

Those wanting to see the new character in action will be able to do so across several new livestreams set to be hosted by Ninja. The first of these broadcasts will arrive on July 19, with Plarium claiming it will see the popular streamer introduce his character as well as discuss their abilities, design influences, and stats. It seems like a good place forRaid: Shadow Legendsfans to figure out the strengths of the game’s newest Champion and where he’ll slot into the roster.
Ninja’s avatar will allegedly be usable in a variety of different modes, including the single-player campaign, Faction Wars, Dungeons, and Clan vs Clan Tournaments. He’ll join a stacked lineup of over 500 champions hailing from 14 different factions. Speaking on the character, Blevins revealed that the Champion was “designed to match how I’ve always pictured myself in an RPG,” celebrating its skillset and moves.
It’s far from the first video game Ninja has featured in during his career. As mentioned earlier, a skin based onthe streamer made its way toFortnitelast year, while Blevins' donations to UK-based charity Special Effect meant he, MrBeast, Aim Lab, and G2 Esportsgot uniqueFall Guysoutfits. His latest appearance definitely seems to be the most significant, offering fans of the streamer a fully-fledged character rather than a simple cosmetic.
