One of the newest additions toPokemon Scarlet and Violetin theIndigo DiskDLC is Blueberry Points, BP, as an alternative currency. This is the only accepted currency for most of the fun options in the Blueberry Academy, including upgrading the League Club and fuel forthe extremely popular Item Printer,and large quantities of BP are required for all of it. The only way to obtain the valuable BP is by completing variousBlueberry Quests, BBQs, in the Terarium at Blueberry Academy.
While completing the various BBQs isn’t difficult, and is often fulfilled byjust roaming the Terarium,there are some notable tips and tricks to make completing them even easier, and more efficient. These are the most helpful tricks to keep in mind while completing BBQs.
5Swap Out TM Quests
The Least Efficient Quest
To make the most out ofgetting BP in the Terarium, it’s most efficient to change any quests to make a TM into something else. While this change costs 10 BP to do, in the long term, it means the player does not have to venture towards the very center of the Terarium nor waste any Materials that could be better used on the Item Printer.
The TM quest is the only normal quest that does not pair well with the other BBQs, beyond the quest for traveling 500 meters, and only then tangentially. If players happen to need more of a certain TM anyway, then completing the quest works just fine, but overall, it’s better to be swapped out.
4Combine Item Quests And Auto Battle Quests
Making Use Of Roaming Around
All the BBQs are relatively easy, but the item pickup quests and Let’s Go quests literally don’t need the player to actively do anything. Since the Let’s Go command sends a Pokemon out to interact with the world, often times the lead Pokemon will both collect glittering items on the ground as it attacks any nearby wild Pokemon.
While the Pokemon sent out can automatically collect items while Auto Battling other Pokemon, it is definitely faster for the player to pickup items while their Pokemon fights. Either way, both BBQs tend to finish within seconds of the other,collecting valuable BP with ease.
3Combine Battling And Catching Quests

With various quests asking the player to catch or defeat Pokemon, combining those with the sneaking up quest is obvious. While the quests having players catch a wild Pokemon, possibly of a certain type, are the fastest option to pair with the sneaking, as surprise battles greatly increase the odds of capturing a Pokemon, the BBQs asking the player to defeat a wild Pokemon with Terastallization is a close second.
Having to catch so many random Pokemon may fill up PC boxes with too much release or Surprise Trade fodder, but withsome special Pokemon in the Terarium, a specific catch list might be best.
2Combine Photo Quests

One of the best ways to expedite completing BBQs is by combining similar quests or quests that otherwise work together. Some of the BBQs request the player take a photo of either a Pokemon in a specific state, such as in flight, or in a specific biome, like the Canyon. To essentially double the amount of BP for half the effort, it’s best to find the specific Pokemon in the specific biome.
The photo quests may be hated for good reason, but they are the easiest BBQs available. All biomes have Pokemon that qualify as either flying or swimming, with flying really referring to any Pokemon not touching the ground, including Geodude, and from that point on, it’s only a matter of traversing to the right biome.
1Make Use Of The Union Circle
Bring Friends Over For The BBQs
Unfortunately for solo players, by far the easiest, fastest, and most efficient way to earn BP in the Terarium is by completing BBQs with other players throughthe Union Circle feature.As all BBQs completed by any player count for all players in the Terarium, BP racks upfast. While high amounts of BP can be obtained by playing alone, special BBQs unlocked by playing with others can award 600 BP at once, and the highest rewarding BBQ during solo play only offers 200 BP in return.
Since finding other trainers can be difficult, or not an option at all for those without online access, this can be a frustrating aspect for BBQs. That said, it is extremely common to end a Union Circle BBQ with thousands of BP points within only an hour or two, making it the best tip to know when tackling Blueberry Quests.
