One of the core aspects of thePokemonseries is collecting all the pocket monsters. With there being multiple versions of every Generation in the franchise containing different creatures, this encouraged trading, which helped establish a multiplayer system in the games. Players have been aiming tocatch every PokemonsinceRed and Blue, which is a daunting task, especially as new creatures are being added constantly.

Pokemon Gold and Silvermade things a little harder by introducingShiny Pokemon. This meant that all pocket monsters now had an alternate coloring that was more scarce than the normal one, adding a bit of difficulty to the mission of catching all of them. With Generation 9 on the horizon, many gamers are imagining what the Shiny versions of the newly announced creatures will be, creating their own colorings for recently revealed Pokemon.
