Zekrom also receives additional damage potential through the Weather Boost mechanic. WhenWindy or Rainy Weatheris ongoing, Zekrom has a heightened chance to appear and receives boosted damage on all hits. For this reason, players may wish to avoid Raids under such weather conditions if possible so as not to disadvantage themselves.

Pokemon GO: Best Counters For Zekrom

InPokemon GO, the best chance of taking down Zekrom in Raids is by utilizing its weaknesses to your advantage to build a team of the best-suited counters. Such counters for Zekrom involve Pokemon of the Dragon, Ice, Fairy, andGround Types- though Pokemon outside of these types who can still utilize powerful moves within these attributes may also work well enough.

Another important factor to keep in mind for Raid Battles is STAB. STAB stands for Same Type Attack Bonus - a mechanic that comes into play during Pokemon battles across many games. When a Pokemon’s move Type matches the Type of the monster using it, additional damage will be applied to the enemy with each successful hit.
