Notably, that’s not the only issue that players have been facing, as others added that Pokemon also seem to be more aggressive after the update. One user highlights that regular Pokemon are attacking as often as Shadow Pokemon.
Poke Ball Throw Bug Preventing Pokemon GO Players From Completing Research Tasks
Another player highlights that the repercussions of this issue seem to extend beyond just catching Pokemon. One of the tasks requires them to make a few great throws in a row, and the increased aggression of the Pokemon seems to be making the task unusually difficult. They add that 90 CP Digletts have been uncannily jumping up and down, which decreases the margin for error while catching them. Considering that such tasks are also required for the ongoingUltra Unlock Part 1: Better Together event inPokemon GO, getting the lucrative rewards might get quite tricky for the players.
The Poke Ball throwing issue was lingering in the game for a long time before it was finally addressed a few weeks back.
