On the surface, Golem and Porygon Z seem vastly different, but a Reddit user andPokemonfan artist by the handle of rc1246 recently combined them in an unusual custom fusion. The resulting creature, which rc1246 shared with r/pokemon, mixes Golem’s general design with Porygon Z’s red-and-teal color scheme and smooth graphical appearance. Golem’s arms and legs now float separately from its atom-like body, while its head sits at the center. Said head now includesPorygon Z’s antenna and yellow eyes from pastPokemongames. One user of the comments section of rc1246’s post suggested “Golegon-Z” as this fusion’s name.
Custom fusions like this are incredibly popular amongPokemonfan artists, combining creatures of drastically different types to form interesting new Pokemon. Rc1246 is no stranger to this, having posted several other creativePokemonfusions before their latest Golem/Porygon Z hybrid. Blending Golem, a creature seemingly made of rocks and dirt, with a completely virtual being like Porygon Z might not be the most obvious fusion forPokemonfans, but rc1246’s take on this idea does an impressive job in mixing the designs of both to create a new digital monster.
