Summary

An artistically talentedPokemonfan has created several Paradox Pokemon figures entirely from LEGO, and is on the receiving end of attention from quite a few others online. While much of thePokemonfanbase seemed divided on the design of Paradox Pokemon, particularly withPokemon Violet’s Paradox Pokemon, the fan’s LEGO builds appear to be getting nearly-universal positive acclaim.

Introduced with the latest franchise entries,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Paradox Pokemonare a distinct group of Pokemon which are either futuristic or ancient relatives of contemporary Pokemon. Some of the most difficult creatures to catch in either title,Pokemon Scarletis home to the ancient Paradox Pokemon whilePokemon Violetis where the futuristic Paradox Pokemon can be found. The impressive array of LEGO Paradox Pokemon models comes from a Reddit user named zombieee4567, who posted their creations to one of the site’s majorPokemonpages. The post includes four figures in total - two fromPokemon Scarletand two fromPokemon Violet. RepresentingVioletis Iron Bundle - the Paradox version of Delibird - and Iron Valiant, Gardevoir and Gallade’s relative. Over on theScarletend are Sandy Shocks and Flutter Mane, which are ancient relatives of Magneton and Misdreavus respectively. Each of the Paradox Pokemon LEGO figures feature background environments applicable to each Pokemon.

Pokemonfan response to the post has been quite large, with the Pokemon LEGOs amassing 2,000 upvotes within just hours of being posted. Just about every comment is some form of praise, declaring that they “look really awesome” and asking if more will be built. Further inspection of the artist’s profile reveals that more are indeed being made, with their latest post a LEGO version ofthe surprisingly competitive Scream Tail, an ancient Paradox form of Jigglypuff.

In addition to unique mediums such as LEGO,Pokemonfans flex their creativity by creating renditions of their favorites in a myriad of styles. In addition to recently being made from LEGOs, fan-favoriteSandy Shocks has been reimagined in aPaper Marioart style. As opposed to the blocky 3D model above, this version is a bouncy and rounded take that looks like it belongs in the series.Pokemonfans have proven time and again that they are one of the most artistic fandoms in pop culture, and their collective creativity seems to know no bounds.
