APokemonfan has recently created an unofficial Mega Evolution for Milotic. Mega Evolutions were originally introduced inPokemon X and Yas temporary, stronger forms for certain creatures. While there are only 48 official Mega Evolutions, fans often create new concepts withPokemonfan art.
Milotic isa Water-type Pokemonfirst introduced inPokemon Ruby and Sapphire. To obtain this creature, gamers need to capture a Feebas and then evolve it either by maximizing its “Beauty” stat or trading it while holding a Prism Scale. What makes Milotic stand out is that while its pre-evolution Feebas is a largely ugly small fish, Milotic is a very beautiful beast, in a transformation that resembles the harmless Magikarp’s evolution to the fierce Gyarados.
Now, an artist called SayuriKoopa has devised a new Mega Evolution for Milotic, sharing it with thePokemoncommunity. This new design greatly resembles the original Milotic, but it comes with a few important changes. For instance, while the monster’s tail remains almost unchanged, this Mega Evolution comes with a crown-shaped head, as well as long blue hair. Also, SayuriKoopa devised two versions of this Pokemon, one with a white collar and the other without it.

While SayuriKoopa has an interesting take on this idea, they are not the first person to have it. Last year, anotherPokemonfan artist made a Mega Milotic. In this other artwork, however, the Pokemon is quite different, as it has lighter colors, and a completely different head and tail, instead of SayuriKoopa’s more traditional design.
A few months ago,Milotic gained a past Paradox formin the work of another fan. This new design was called Striking Beauty, and it was a Water/Fighting-type. In this case, the Pokemon received a larger tail, as well as several spiky scales on its body. The design also had a shiny form, which changed Milotic’s red parts to blue ones and added yellow to the creature’s scales.
Yet another fan work shared with the community recently wasa fusion of Suicune and Milotic. In this piece, the artist kept Suicune’s upper body shape and face, while using a fishtail inspired by Milotic, and giving the creature really long hairs, which suited the new fusion very well. With so many fan artworks inspired by Milotic coming out in recent months, it’s likely that the trend will continue, and fans may see even more stunning unofficial forms for Milotic.
