As pointed out by DualShockers, Reddit user Poire_ recently shared an incredible “exploded view” version of the PlayStation 3. On the top layer, the console itself is clearly visible, while all the other layers focus on the games that helped make the PS3 a success. On the bottom floor, Lightining fromFinal Fantasy 13is seen walking while Cole Macgrath fromInfamousrides on some wires. Sev is depicted fighting some Helghast fromtheKillzonefranchise, while the mysterious, scarf-wearing adventurers fromJourneyare moving together.
The next layer of the console features more PlayStation icons, withGod of War’s Kratosseen fighting some foes with the Blades of Chaos.The Last of Us' Joel and Ellie are also seen battling a clicker on this level, with two of the most critically acclaimed PlayStation franchises sharing the spotlight. On the layer above, Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher fromUnchartedare seen in a vehicle, whileDemon’s Soulsis represented to their left. On their right, the older Solid Snake seen inMetal Gear Solid 4is crouching on the floor.
With the top layer including Sackboy fromtheLittleBigPlanetseriesand even some representation forFat Princess, a vast majority of the PS3’s exclusive lineup gets some love. Even anAssassin’s Creedreference is included, as Altair can be seen leaping off one layer of the PS3 and into some hay far below. Overall, the artwork is stunning, and it has brought in nearly 13,000 upvotes since it was first posted.
