Among these obscure characters is the White Dragon, aka Auggie Smith. He is played by legendaryTerminator 2: Judgement Dayactor Robert Patrick and is the father of Peacemaker in the series. While many changes have been made to the White Dragon character for the show, there is still a fair amount of DC Comics lore attached to the individual that both old and new fans may want to know.
6There Are Actually Several White Dragons In DC History, None Are Named Auggie Smith
DC has actually had four different charactersto use the name White Dragon. The first one isa Golden Age villaincreated by John B. Wentworth and Homer Fleming who fought the Western-style hero known as the Whip. The second was an early Silver Age member of the Blackhawk Squadron and was actually a hero by the name of Liu Huang created by Will Eisner and Chuck Cuidera. He would later perish in aBirds of Preycomic.
The third White Dragon was William Heller, and he first appeared inSuicide Squadcomics. He was created by John Ostrander and Luke McDonnell. The most recent one, Daniel Ducannon, was also created by John Ostrander as well as Jan Duursema. Ducannon first appeared inHawkworld.

The most recent White Dragons, which are the two most likely to be relevant to thePeacemakercharacter, are also white supremacists. It’s unclear if Heller and Ducannon have ever met or interacted. It is known that both were part of a Nazi-themed supervillain team called the Fourth Reich. This crewtried to take out the Justice Society, and they were soundly defeated by the prestigious team of superheroes.
4Ducannon Was An Enemy Of Hawkman And Hawkwoman
Given that his first appearance was inHawkworld, it should come as no surprise that Daniel Ducannon ran afoul of Hawkman and Hawkwoman. He was granted powers by the “Meta-Bomb” used by the Alien Alliance during theInvasion!event by Keith Giffen, Bill Mantlo, Todd MacFarlane, and Andrew Heifer. These powers included pyrokinesis and the ability to fly. He also had a suit of armor crafted for himself. He used these to fake being a superhero as a platform to spread his message of white supremacy.
Unable to keep much of a lid on his racist tendencies, Hawkwoman and then Hawkman caught on to White Dragon’s game. The two exposed him in addition to the standard superhero beat down.

3He Later Was Poisoned By The Joker
Ducannon was inside the Slabside Penitentiary when the Joker unleashed his toxinto drive the inmates insane. The Joker then broke them loose and let them run wild. At this point, the Joker believed he was dying and wanted to create as much havoc as possible before passing from the world.
Ducannon was caught by Militia, a military-esque superhero who also happens to be the brother of Green Lantern, Guy Gardner.

2Heller Was A Childhood Acquaintance Of Deadshot And Joined The Suicide Squad
William Heller’s path is remarkably similar seeing as he and Ducannon never seemed to know one another. However, Heller was a rich kid whose only childhood friendwas Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot. He first went by William Hell and implemented his white supremacist agenda while under the guise of a vigilante. He was later caught and brought onto the Suicide Squad. He later got free, and this is when he donned the White Dragon armor and joined the Fourth Reich to fight the Justice Society.

In the end, William Heller joined up with General Wade Eiling when he tried to overthrow Amanda Waller andtake control of Task Force X. The rest of the Suicide Squad fought back, including an illusion-caster called Twister. Unfortunately for Twister, White Dragon was able to kill her in rage.

Plastique, another member of the Suicide Squad, was good friends with Twister. Plastique, able to project explosions from her body, cracked open the White Dragon’s helmet and blew up Heller’s head.
