Summary

A creativePalworldplayer constructed their base in a remote location so that enemy raids could not reach it. As the game offers its players quite a bit of creative freedom regarding base-building, many fans have dedicated hours to incredible bases with multiple levels, intricate details, and often creative themes. With millions of players obsessed withPalworld, many have shared their masterfully built bases with other fans online.

One problem for players trying to build anincredible home inPalworldis the potential for raids to destroy all their hard work. Throughout the game, players will experience raids where enemies infiltrate their base and attempt to destroy their buildings and Pals. These raids can be particularly devastating for players who have dedicated several hours to crafting a unique home. While there are some ways to prevent raids, such as logging off or building a base in a discrete location, many players have opted to turn raids off altogether, claiming they are more annoying than anything in their current state.

Palworld - Petting Lovander

Rather than completely shut raids off,Palworldplayer lamp-post-luminair opted to create their incredible base in a visually stunning and “unraidable” location. This player built their home on a cliffside between two waterfalls, leaving the base protected by surrounding mountains as well as its height off the ground. Accessible with a flying mount, the gorgeous location is surrounded by waterfalls, blue lakes, and an incredible view of the surrounding forests. The spot is so particularly stunning that many players might want to considermoving theirPalworldbases.

Palworld Player Shows Off “Unraidable” Base

While the location is gorgeous and safe, some players lamented their inability to run an operational base in similar spots as their Pals would get stuck or wander off the cliff’s edge. Many reported that they would find their Pals dead at the bottom, or stuck somewhere unable to return to the base so they could eat and sleep. With the effectiveness of working Pals being dependent on a player’s ability toincrease a Pal’s sanity level, these issues can make safe and stunning cliffside bases impractical.

Luckily,Palworldhas just received its biggest update yetand some of the many fixes may address these problems. The major patch included several fixes to frustrating Pal problems, including issues with them getting stuck and refusing to work. The update also decreased the speed and range of fire spreading across wooden buildings, which is one of the many concerns that players have regarding raids on their bases. These patches should be helpful to fans of base-building and will hopefully be the first of many that improve this fan-favorite feature.
