Palia Plumehound Pilgrimage Walkthrough
Talk To Hassian About His Letter
To begin the Plumehound PilgrimagequestinPalia, you first need tospeak with Hassian, one ofPalia’s romanceable NPCs,after receiving his letter. He tells you Tau has picked up a trail and to search for it to learn what caught Tau’s scent. He tells you to begin at hiscamp to the north. Fortunately, you may spot its location by looking at the map ofBahari Bay.
Pick Up Tau’s Trail
Topick up Tau’s Trail, you must head to Bahari Bay and search for Hassian’s camp as pinpointed on the map above, justnorth of the Flooded Fortress. You could usePalia’s fast travel mechanicsto reach this area faster or use a glider to speed up the journey. Upon reaching the marked location, interact with the collectible on the floor to find Tau’s Trail, a line of paw prints in the dirt. You now need to follow a series of these small trail lines to follow Tau’s trail. Helpfully, the map updates with a yellow circle, showing which area to check.
Follow Tau’s Trail
Tofollow Tau’s trailinPalia’s Plumehound Pilgrimage quest, immediately turn left at Hassian’s camp and walk forward to find the next pawprints, which you can see curve right in the direction of the Flooded Fortress. Head towards the Flooded Fortress to see more pawprints and, occasionally, collectibles labeled ‘What’s this?’ leading the way.
Headinside the Flooded Fortress ruinsand down the slope to the right. Keep moving forward until you reach the small island ahead, which is where things get a little tricky, as it doesn’t necessarily seem obvious where to go next. However, keep crossing the water to the left until you reach the point marked on the map below, which is easiest to get to by sticking to the sides.

Once you reach this point, pick up another collectible from the ground and follow the pawprints into the ruins. You’ll see the final set of pawprints taking you through a door on the right, leading to a battery on the floor in front of a locked door.Grab the battery on the floorand use the Pavel Mines to the left on the way out to make a quicker return trip out of the area. To open the locked door you discovered, you’ll need to fix the battery first.
Talk To Sifuu About The Battery
Return to Kilima Valley andspeak with Sifuuto ask about the battery. However, he tells you the best person to help is Zeki. However, Zeki won’t chat with you as usual in his shop - you’ll have to visit him at his Black Market instead.
Talk To Zeki In The Underground
There are a few ways to findZeki’s underground Black Market inPalia. If you don’t haveZeki’s Keyto enter the market through his shop, another method is to head to the beach in front of the Remembrance Garden in Kilima Valley, where you’ll find a secret sewer entrance to the underground market called The Sewers. If you chat with Zeki beforehand, he tells you to meet him at theUndergroundat night, so the best times to visit are between approximately 9 pm til 3 am when he usually runs his shop there.Talk to Zeki, who says you must find five Flowstones to fix the battery using magic.
Collect The Flowstones (All Flowstone Locations)
You now need tocollect five Flowstones, which you can collect from the ground. You can find allFlowstonelocated in thePavel Minesas follows:
you may find the Flowstone near a ruin just inside the north entrance to the Pavel Mines, just around the corner from where you found the battery earlier in the quest.

The next Flowstone is located close to the east exit of the Pavel Mines. If you entered via the north entrance, follow the path around and climb up just past the first small waterfall to find the east exit. The Flowstone is located opposite the exit.
Below the Flowstone near the exit, you can find another Flowstone on some rocks near a small pool of water containing two small waterfalls, which makes a goodPaliafishing spot.

Inside the Pavel Mines, take the path left of the east exit and keep walking forward to find another Flowstone in front of two wooden barrels.
The last Flowstone is located near the top entrance to the Pavel Mines. you may reach this by finding the main entrance to the Pavel Mines to the southeast and then climbing up above the wooden structures above the entrance. Once inside the top entrance, drop down two levels on the left to find the Flowstone next to another set of twin barrels.

Bring The Flowstones To Zeki
Return to Zeki to bring him the Flowstones. However, once again, he will only talk with you in the Underground, so make sure you meet him at night again. He charges up the battery, and thankfully, it doesn’t explode.
Bring The Overcharged Battery To Hassian
The final step is to take the overcharged battery to Sifuu. Speak with Sifuu about the battery to completePalia’s Plumehound Pilgrimage quest, rewarding you with 1,000 Renown and unlocking the next quest, A Catylzing Caper, where you get to check out what’s behind that locked door.
