OneOverwatch 2gamer has thought of an alternate idea for Kiriko’s Ultimate ability that would give it a humorous twist. While fans often propose intriguing concepts for heroes inOverwatch 2, this is definitely one of the more unique.
Despite being thenewest hero added to Overwatch 2, Kiriko has already proven herself to be one of the best supports in the game. This is due to her impressive abilities that aid her survivability in battle and enable her teammates. Chief among these is her Kitsune Rush, which quickens movement, increases attack speed, and decreases cooldown times for her teammates nearby. While this Ultimate ability is already one of the more effective in the game, one fan thinks they might have come up with an alternative, which at the very least, is more amusing.

Taking to Reddit, a user known as ironwold6464 shared a unique concept they had thought of for thehero Kiriko inOverwatch 2. In particular, the Reddit user proposed a new Ultimate for the character that removed Kitsune Rush with the kid from herOverwatch 2cinematic. Known simply as “Kiriko,” this cinematic watched the titular hero save an older gentleman, called Mr. Yoshida, and his granddaughter from the dangerous Hashimoto clan. After Kiriko uses the power of the fox spirit, the young child in the scene grabs an axe and charges the Hashimoto thugs. In the Reddit post, ironworld6464 included an image of the kid screaming and holding the large axe from the cinematic to help sell the concept.
Since posting the idea to Reddit, manyOverwatch 2fans have found the idea amusing. The post has more than 12.2K upvotes, and many compared the alternate Ultimate for Kiriko to B.O.B.,Ashe’s Ultimate inOverwatch 2. “Kid. Do something!” one user quipped. In addition, some debated which would win in a fight. Furthermore, one user joked that combining these two Ultimates would be extremely powerful. “BOB would put the kid on his shoulders while she holds the axe and destroy both the teams,” they said.
While the odds of Blizzard replacing Kiriko’s Ultimate are highly unlikely, it is still intriguing to see what concepts fans come up with for this new character and the others in the game. Besides this hilarious Kiriko Ultimate idea, another fan recently created a newskin design for Roadhog themed around the new gameGod of War Ragnarok. With Season 2 ofOverwatch 2promising to add even more content, including the new tank Ramattra, it will be interesting to see what new concepts fans create next.
