The Gorosei are known to be incredibly powerful characterswithin theOne Pieceworld. Although they were a big mystery until recently, the Final Saga ofOne Piecehas been throwing a lot of focus on them and revealing more information about their capabilities as well as their roles within the hierarchy of the World Government.
It was recently revealed to the fans thatthe Gorosei are actually combatants as well, as speculated by many. In fact, they are known to be the Warrior Gods of the world, which just goes to show how high they rank among the fighters in the series. Naturally, while all of them are strong, not everyone is going to be equally as powerful.

In the Egghead Island arc, fans got a proper look at the powers and abilities of the Five Elders, and it is safe to say that they have some of the deadliest transformation-based abilities in the One Piece world. The five elders were recently revealed to have the power of various Yokai and other mythological creatures, and while all of them are incredibly powerful, some creatures are stronger than others.
6Saint Shepherd Ju Peter
The Sandworm is a powerful mythological creaturethat exists in many pieces of fiction. This is an incredibly powerful preacher and Saint Shepherd Ju Peter can transform into it at will. The Sandworm is an absolutely massive creature with what appears to be a scar on his head. The creature has the power to dig, and attack enemies at incredible speed. In the Egghead Island Arc, Ju Peter was seen using the power of the Sandworm to dig and then attack Luffy from underneath.
Ju Peter also managed to swallow Luffy, and had it not been for the Giants, perhaps Luffy would have been dead. The powers of this creature have not fully been explored just yet. As is the case with every single member of the Five Elders, Shepherd Jupiter has a unique ability as well. Fans will likely not get to see that unless Oda draws the battles on Egghead Island in more detail.
5Saint Jaygarcia Saturn
Saint Saturn is the Goroei that the fans have seen the most of. He was first seen arriving on Egghead with the Marines, and he immediately utilized the power of his Yokai right from the get-go.Saint Saturn can transform into Gyuki.This creature has the upper body of an ox and the lower body of a spider. Saint Saturn has several powerful abilities.
For one, Saturn can utilize the power to inflict invisible damage on his enemies. Furthermore, Saturn can even pin down his enemies and prevent them from moving, and this includes even strong enemies such as Yonko Commanders. Furthermore, Saturn has a powerful ability to coat himself in venom and attack others with it that can kill in a single shot. If that wasn’t enough, Saturn also has an incredible regeneration rate, but this regeneration is common in all of the members of the Elders. Clearly, Saturn possesses tremendous strength, however, his showing against Luffy was certainly not the best.
4Saint Marcus Mars
Saint Marcus Mars is the Gorosei with a giant mustache and a long pointy beard. He appears to be the oldest of the lot, however, he’s also one of the most impressive ones. As is evident from his name, he is named after the fourth planet and the solar system. Saint Marcus Mars plays the role of the Warrior God of Environment within the World Government. This could mean that his powers are somehow linked to the environment and nature itself, however, this has not been confirmed by Oda just yet.
The Itsumade is a giant mythological birdwith what appears like a serpentine body, with Giant wings, possessing feathers as sharp as steel, and a head that appears to be a mixture between that of a human and a bird. The teeth of this giant bird are incredibly sharp as well, and taking all things into consideration, the Itsumade is an absolutely powerful creature.
Fans have not seen much of this creature inOne Pieceas of yet. However, the Itsumade was clearly able to break through the Labophase barrier with ease. This suggests that it possessed enough speed and strength to pull this off. The true power of the Itsumade has not been seen yet, since fans do not know what unique ability it possessed up its sleeve. However, it is most certainly one of the most powerful Yokai transformations of all.
3Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is a powerful individual and likely one of the strongest among the Five Elders. He possesses quite a lot of incredible abilities up his sleeve, and, as seen recently, he can transform into the Bakotsu, which is a skeleton horse-like figure from hell. This skeleton horse is absolutely massive in size, and at the same time, also incredibly fast. Nusjuro can also transform into its hybrid form, just like all the other Elders, and he turns into a centaur-like creature when he takes this form.
Wielding his sword in one hand, Nusjuro was able to slice through over 25 Mark 3 Pacifistas in the blink of an eye. He can also summon the chill of the underworld, which is an ability that he shares with Brook. Of course, the Bakotsu Yokai also has many other abilities that fans have not seen yet, however, so far, the speed of this creature is unrivaled. Furthermore, the chill that it attacks with renders its opponents absolutely useless, and that is certainly a very scary power.
2Saint Topman Warcury
The Fengxi, also known as the Houki, is quite a monstrous creature in Chinese mythology who looks like a massive wild boar. The Fengxi is known to hold tremendous physical strength, which is likely the highest among the Five Elders. At the same time, the Fengxi is said to hold an impenetrable hide, which prevents it from taking serious damage. All these are abilities that Saint Topman Warcury possesses.
On top of that, he can also turn his tusks into blades and attack his enemies with them. These attacks are deadly enough to injure even powerful Yonko-level opponents. On top of that, Warcury also possesses the ability to amplify his Conqueror’s Haki using the power of the Fengxi. This was seen used against Luffy, and it completely tore his clothes apart, and blew away everyone in the surrounding area. In fact, the power of this Conqueror’s Haki road was such that it even reached the Marine ships, knocking out several marines in the process.

1Saint Garling Figarland
St. Garling Figarland is one of the strongest Celestial Dragons seen in the story. Known as the Champion of God Valley, Garling established himself as a threat in an era ruled by Rocks, Roger, Whitebeard, and many others.
He was the Supreme Commander of the God’s Knights until recently, and now, after the death of Saint Saturn, he has been promoted to the position of the Five Elders.
