Go to the Overpass
When players first gain control of Catherine they have limited areas to travel to. Visit the overpass to see thepuppet show theaterbeing set up. The player needs to set some events in motion to start thepuppet show.
Examine the Curious Duck
Catherine needs to go to theFrench Quarterand knock on the door of theCurious Duckgift shop. She’ll realize the door is locked.
Speak to the Hot Dog Vendor
The nearbyhot dog vendorwill tell Catherine about a secret knock that can get her into the Curious Duck. He’ll only tell her what it is if she can send some customers his way to buy some hot dogs.
Talk to the Showgoer
Head back to the overpass and a crowd will be gathered around ready for the show to start. Tell theshowgoerabout the hotdog stand and he’ll check it out after the show.
Start the Show
Simply click on the curtains to begin the show.It tells the tragic storyof a fisherman losing his son to a pet alligator.
Use the Boat to Find the Fisherman’s Memorial
The show will transform into a map of the swamps with theplayer in control of a boat.It’s important to be careful while navigating the swamp as there is a damage bar that can fill up from crashing against land. The screen will also darken more as the boat goes faster. If the boat is completely damaged the show will end. Players can explore the swamp and find points that further the puppet show’s story.
There is a cove tucked in thenorthwestern cornerof the swamp. Go there to find a cross and some items the fisherman placed in memory of his son.
Sift Through the Objects to Find the Case
Catherine needs to observe the memorial. She will then be given the choice tosift through objects.Doing so will put thealligator phone casein her inventory and give the player thegatorcase achievement.
