Seeing a traumatized character isn’t unheard of. Fans who have seen the newHalloweenfilmsknow that Laurie Strode has become very jaded, haunted, and reactionary due to her past of being followed by Michael Myers. She learned how to fight, shoot, build traps, and arm bombs to protect herself. She also became a shell of her former self due to the psychological damage that occurs after being followed by a killer who doesn’t die for decades. So it’s not surprising if any oftheScreamcharactersdeal with the same issues due to their past.
