Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers can finally play trial matches for practice, thanks to a new game mode that adds bots to the mix. The new Bootcamp mode inCall of Duty: Warzonelets the player engage in battle against a combination of human players and bots in order to hone their skills before facing competitive matches.

As of now,Warzonenewcomers have no fair way to get the hang of the gameplay without partaking in a full-blown competitive online match. However, that seems to be changing now as developers are set to ship Bootcamp modetoWarzoneas part of the Season 3 update. The new features will arrive in the game on April 3.

Call of Duty: Warzonewill get a new training mode, called Bootcamp, once Season 3 kicks off on April 3. It is a Quad-only mode that will letCoDplayers face up to 20 human players and 24 bots. For this mode, the player can either party-up with friends or fill-squad with bots before waging war in a randomized spot in the fictional location of Urzikstan. It’s important to note that progression for player, weapon, and Battle XP will be limited in Bootcamp. Besides that, progress in this mode won’t count towards Calling Card Challenges, Champion’s Quest, Daily Challenges, Weapon Challenges, and Weekly Challenges. This mode won’t feature public events or advanced contracts.

Bootcamp Mode lets Warzone Beginners Learn the Ropes

Bootcamp mode offers players a “snapshot of the real-dealCall of Duty: Warzoneexperience.” In other words, it is a beginner-friendly mode that gives players ample room to practice, experiment, and improve. Additionally, the announcement states that the new mode is “designed to help new players build confidence” before their first competitive online match inWarzone. The developer has also underlined that Bootcamp is the only mode inWarzonethat features bots. Notably, this mode expands on the Training Course mode that shipped toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3in the Season 2 update.

Apart from Bootcamp, there is a lot of other stuff coming toWarzonein the coming days. The highly awaited Season 3 update is also set to bring areturning location called Rebirth Island, new features such as Spy Drones Contract, public events such as Gulag: Climb and Punishment, among a bunch of other things.
