That included continuing to have it be more of a looming threat that is talked about and hinted at, rather than an imminent one. “We wanted to make sure we mentioned the Wild Hunt in season one, for instance,” she said. “It’s in the pilot, so that we can say ‘We hear you fans, we know that this is a big deal.’ The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it’s what the fans know.“Hissrich who has a plan that would include seven seasons ifHenry Cavill is willing to stick withThe Witcherthat long, made it clear that while the Wild Hunt may not be arriving in season 2, the show will go into more detail about what it entails. She said that so far, the creatures involved in the Wild Hunt are a kind of skeletal evil that’s hinted at. Season 2 fleshed them out and really explained where they come from and what they want, setting the stage for their arrival.The showrunner said there’s a dual reason for introducing the talk about the Wild Hunt so early. Certainly, there’s a way to build up the big villain in the books and now the show, but Hissrich also wanted to make sure fans knew her team understand what’s important to them.That also means they are also introducing a ton of newcharacters from the books toThe Witcherseason 2.
