Summary
Some individuals havestrong and versatile quirks, while others do not. It is a harsh reality in theMy Hero Academiaworld and the real world, as there is a saying that says all fingers are not equal. Some individuals, due to certain reasons, use their god-given powers to carry out evil deeds and terrorize the community. For instance, Dabi, also known as Toya Todoroki, became a villain after his father pushed him aside and paid no attention to him. There is also Shigaraki, who is related to a hero, Nana Shigaraki, but pays allegiance to the villains because of his traumatic upbringing.
It is quite easy for some individuals in theMy Hero Academiaworld to misuse their powers for selfish and evil reasons, but when push comes to shove, some individuals only have good intentions for others and regardless of how powerful their quirks are, they will never be villains even though they could easily be one.

1Katsuki Bakugo
Explosive Temper, Aggressive Nature And A Bully
Bakugo is very hot-tempered and has been a bully to Midoriya and others around him. Most viewers from the beginning noticed that Bakugo had villainous tendencies, but the people in theMy Hero Academiaworld saw this during the live broadcast of the UA Sports Festival, where Bakugo had no regard for his teammates and destroyed everything in his way without care.
Bakugo does not have team spirit, and he moves aggressively and without caution, as most villains do. Bakugo is quite self-centered, as he does not care about the people or things around him. He just wants to be the best and prove that he is stronger than Midoriya and All Might. However, as the anime progresses,he undergoes significant character developmentas he becomes calmer, has friends, and cares about Midoriya.

2Yuga Aoyama
Sold His Soul To All For One For A Quirk
Yuga, just like Midoriya, was born quirkless. In a world where more than 80% of individuals have a quirk, it is quite unfair and depressing for anyone to find themselves among theless than 20% without a quirkas it leaves the individual wondering what exactly is wrong with them. However, Yuga was not quite fortunate to meet someone as nice as All Might to give him a quirk. Instead, his parents went to meet All For One, the constant terror of theMy Hero Academiaworld.
As a man with evil intentions, All For One answered Yuga’s parents and gave their child a quirk, the Nasal Laser quirk. However, there was a clause for the quirk. In return, Yuga had to feed the League of Villains intel about UA High. It was because of Yuga’s Intel that the League of Villains was able to attack the students and teachers at UA High. After his secret came to light, Yuga was filled with guilt and was ready to make amends with the hero society. As easy as he felt guilt is the same way he could have easily not felt guilty and instead pledged his allegiance to the villains instead of the heroes.

3Tenya Ida
Vengeance Made Him Lose Sight Of What It Means To Be A Hero
To most fans, Tenya is a responsible young hero and the class representative of class 1A. Tenya loves his family deeply, which is why he was incredibly hurt when Hero Killer: Stain hurt his brother, Tensei, so badly thathe had to retire from being a hero. He let his hurt turn into a thirst for vengeance as he went after Stain to kill him for what he did to his brother.
Tenya’s actions were very unheroic, and luckily for him, he had good friends who constantly looked after him andsaved him from suffering the same fate as his brotheror, even worse, going down the dark path of vengeance. Todoroki and Midoriya helped Tenya snap out of his dark phase, and he was able to get back on the right track of being a hero, vowing never to go off track again.

4Keigo Takami
Troubled Childhood And Harsh Hero Training
Hawks had quite a troubled childhood and underwent so much harsh training that if he had decided to be a villain, his actions would have been justified. The remarkable thing about Hawks is that, despite all the inhumane things he went through, he never allowed them to kill his optimism or dull his spark. He believed in heroes, even after going through very harsh hero training at a young age.
Different people have different perceptions because, to Hawks, Endeavor was his personal hero for saving him from his father’sphysical and emotional abuse. When Hawks infiltrated the League of Villains, he realized just how good a person Twice was and had hopes that he could be a better person, just like Endeavor. Unfortunately for Hawks, things did not go as planned, and Twice died in his arms.

5Shoto Todoroki
Despised His Father And Would Have Done Anything To Make Him Unhappy
Shoto had quite a traumatic upbringing and It is safe to say that if Enji’s second child had an equal quirk distribution as Shoto, Shoto would not have existed, as Enji would have called it a day and focused on training the child to be strong enough to defeat All Might.
Todoroki despises his father, and for a while, he vowed not to use his father’s side of his quirk. With that mindset, he could have also decided to switch sides and be a villain to hurt his father and prove thathe did not need him.

6Fumikage Tokoyami
His Quirk Thrives In Darkness
Tokoyami’s quirk,Dark Shadow, shines best in the darkness, meaning that he is not as strong during the day as he is at night. Sometimes, Tokoyami finds it hard to control Dark Shadow at night because of how extremely powerful they get.
Most villains move at night as it is easier to get their villainous acts or activities done when the heroes and civilians are sleeping. Tokoyami’s love and need for the dark can easily push him to be a villain, especially if he cannot control or regulate Dark Shadow. However, throughout the anime, fans see Tokoyami attempt to get a hold of his quirk at night and get accustomed to working during the day. Tokoyami also looks up to Hawks and wants to be as good a hero as him.

7Hitoshi Shinso
His Quirk Makes People Wary Of Him
Individuals in theMy Hero Academiaworld have no say or hand in the type of quirk they inherit or their children inherit. Some might go out of their way to marry someone with a quirk that complements their own as Enji did. However, there is little they can do. Hitoshi was born with thebrainwashing quirkthat allows him to put his target at his beck and call, commanding them to do whatever he wishes.
His quirk seems like a convenient one, as he just needs to get his target to verbally respond to whatever he says to put them under his command and does not need to be in combat with them. Unfortunately for him, his peers and others around him perceive this quirk as an evil one, and they never trust their intentions around him because he might as well be controlling them. Hitoshi is isolated because of his quirk, as no one wants to befriend him, and this alone is enough to push him to the edge and become a villain, but he is hell-bent on proving to everyone that he can be a good hero with his quirk.
