Thanks to a mod, Spider-Ham is now playable inMarvel’s Spider-Man. Since the game made its way over to PC, a number of mods have been created for it, andMarvel’s Spider-Manmods have added suitsand characters to the games that were not in the original release.
Spider-Ham was first introduced to the world in a one-shot comic that released in 1983. The character, whose real name is Peter Porker, is an animal parody of the original Spider-Man who exists in a universe populated by anthropomorphic parody versions of various Marvel heroes and villains. Spider-Ham made his film debut in 2018 when he was featured in the animated filmSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,and he flater starred in his own short. He has now made his way intoMarvel’s Spider-Manthrough mods, allowing gamers to play as the character.

A Redditor named jjarack posted images of Spider-Ham being inserted intoMarvel’s Spider-Manthrough a mod. The pictures show that the character’s suit from the animated films he has featured in has been replicated. This includes the nostrils found on the end of his snout, which follow the movements of his eyes. The mod may not have given Spider-Ham his cartoonish figure, but it is nice to see him in the game regardless.

Redditors are loving the Spider-Hammod forMarvel’s Spider-Man. One commenter stated that the mod is terrifying, but that they still love it. A user said that this addition to the game is cursed in the best way possible, while another mentioned that this is what they have been waiting for. It was noticed that Spider-Ham is not in his usual proportions, leading to one gamer saying that he must be “packing that bacon.” It would be nice to see an official Spider-Ham costume inMarvel’s Spider-Man, though this mod will have to do for now.
Spider-Ham is not the only funny mod that has been made for the game, and Peter Parker has even been transformed intoKermit the Frog with aMarvel’s Spider-Manmod. The character replaces the Advanced Suit, which means that gamers can play as theMuppetsstar from the start. The mod gives gamers the hilarious sight of Kermit swinging through the city and taking on villains, which makes the title’s intense moments a bit more light-hearted. Having the Muppet take Spider-Man’s place is great for anyone who wants to add some more entertainment factor to their game, and along with Spider-Ham, the Kermit add-on shows the fun that the PC community can have with mods.
