The vinyl set is up for presale starting today, March 4, at 1p. EST and is a must have for any fan ofMass Effect’s distinct compositions. The tweet announcing the vinyl collection confirms that the 85 songs available have been curated by developer Bioware’s sound team. One of the songs likely tomake the cut is “Suicide Mission” fromMass Effect 2, considered by fans to be the standout track of the franchise.
The announcement of this upcomingMass Effectvinyl set comes at a point of renewed interest and support for Bioware’s video game space opera. Since the announcement ofMass Effect: Legendary Edition, fans have been quick to invest in the franchise more than ever before, especially throughMass Effectmerchandise. Over the last few years, with the resurgence of vinyl as a format, many publishers and developers have opted to release gaming soundtracks for those with a distinct ear for quality. The rise in popularity of vinyl has even forced some manufacturers to bring some favorites back into production. Just yesterday, Mondo Music confirmed thatboth theSilent HillandLast of Usrecords will get re-releases.
