Lovesac has teamed up with Microsoft for a newXboxcollaboration that includes an Xbox-themed Lovesac, an Xbox Series S console, and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Available to purchase directly from Lovesac stores or through Best Buy, theLovesac Xbox Bundle is currently available at a discounted priceof $1,350 for the holiday shopping season, down from its usual asking price of $1,800.
For those unfamiliar with Lovesac, it’s a furniture company well known for what are essentially premium, extremely high-quality “bean bag chairs,” but they’re filled with Durafoam instead of Styrofoam or cheap materials that other companies use. Lovesac chairs have a reputation for being extremely comfortable, and the one that comes with theXboxBundle certainly lives up to the hype. It’s a massive “Supersac” that is five feet across and over three feet tall. While its huge size may require customers to rearrange their living rooms a bit, the Lovesac is certainly going to be more comfortable than the average recliner. It’s great for relaxing, reading, watching movies, and of course, playing video games.

The Supersac is certainly the star of this Xbox bundle, but the Xbox Series S console and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate it comes with sweeten the pot and then some. TheXbox Series S console is the weaker of Microsoft’s new consoles, but it is still perfectly capable of playing all “next-gen” exclusive games. Some games can even run at a blistering 120 frames per second on the Xbox Series S, so while there’s been some controversy about the console’s power lately, it’s still a more-than-capable machine.
And thanks to theXbox Series S' backward compatibility, the console already has a gigantic library of games despite only being two years old. The Xbox Series S can play many original Xbox games, Xbox 360 games, and Xbox One games on top of the titles that are optimized specifically for the new Series X/S consoles in mind. Of course, games aren’t cheap, so acquiring many of the best Series S titles will be an added expense on top of the $1,350 price for the bundle, but the three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate should go a long way.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate usually costs $14.99 per month, so it’s a great deal to get three months free. However, some Xbox gamers may not even realize that they could translate those three free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate into having the service free forever.Microsoft Rewards has queststhat players can complete to get points that can in turn be redeemed for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. As long as one is consistent about completing their Microsoft Rewards quests, they should have no problem turning that three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate into a permanently free subscription.
Tying the Supersac with the Xbox theme is a limited-edition Xbox cover. This green and black cover includes a side pouch that is seemingly meant to store anXbox controller, but we wouldn’t recommend doing that as it could potentially add extra wear and tear to the analog sticks. However, the pocket would be great to hold things like TV remotes.
Everything included in the Lovesac Xbox Bundle is great, but one may be wondering how easy it is to get it all set up. While setting up anXbox Series S consoleis as simple as plugging it in and following the on-screen instructions, the Supersac is a little trickier. Due to the sheer size of the thing, it’s definitely recommended that one does not attempt to remove it from the packaging and apply the cover by themselves. It’s fairly easy to do with two people, but make sure there’s plenty of space to roll the Supersac while zipping it into the cover.
The Lovesac Xbox Bundle would make a tremendous gift for an Xbox gamer this holiday season, though the price may be something to consider. One could buy a Supersac and Xbox console separately for less money, though they won’t necessarily get freeXbox Game Pass Ultimate, and they would miss out on the limited edition Xbox cover. Those that don’t mind spending a bit more for a limited edition product should definitely consider picking up the Lovesac Xbox Bundle while it’s still available at its discounted price of $1,350.
