TheUmbral Lampallows lampbearers to peek into the Umbral Lamp and figure out a different path if the one in Axiom is blocked. There aremany more features inLords of the Fallenthat will certainly help players in their journey.

How To Use Umbral Lamp In Lords Of The Fallen
There are several abilities that players can use while activating the Umbral Lamp inLords of the Fallen.
Remove Umbral Parasites
While exploring the areas, lampbearers will eventually encounter someenemies with a blue health barinstead of the usual red. These enemies won’t receive damage at all as there’s a Parasite merged with them symbiotically from the Umbral Realm. To remove it,use the Umbral Lamp to siphon the Parasite.
Soulflaying Enemies
Players can use the Umbral Lamp to Soulflay an enemy’s soul out of its body. Attack the soul to Wither some of the enemy’s health and cause some decent damage. Additionally, players can choose which direction they wish to Soulflay the enemy’s soul, which can become an advantage by forcing the souls off a cliff.
Facilitate Exploration
Althoughmost ofLords of the Fallentakes place in Axiom, some places are unreachable unless players move to Umbral and use some hidden routes. In some places, lampbearers can pull onto an environmental element to move a platform to the other side. Also, some elements are linked to a bridge that can be pulled out once Soulflayed.
Remove Soulflay Obstacles
There are many routes to follow whileexploring both worlds inLords of the Fallen. However, sometimes lampbearers are blocked by an entity that spreads its roots, creating Soulflay Obstacles which forbids anyone from proceeding. To remove it,go to Umbral and follow the blue roots to remove the Soulflay Obstacles found at the end. In other cases, the Soulflay Obstacles may exist on their own without the entity. So, simply remove them and proceed forward.
Plant Vestige Seed
Besides normalVestige points that act as permanent rest points inLords of the Fallen, players can plant a Vestige Seed in any available Umbral flowerbed to create a temporary resting checkpoint.
Siphoning
Forcefully taking out an enemy’s soul using the Umbral Lamp consumes a Soulflay charge. The charge can be recharged by siphoning blue blisters using the Umbral Lamp in the world of the dead.
Witness Stigmas
Stigmas are fragments of the past that took place in Axiom but only appear in Umbral. Lampbearers need to travel to the world of the dead and Soulflay the Stigma to witness the traumatic event that took place.
Gives Second Chance
The Umbral Lamp offers a second chance upon dying. When players die in battles or while exploring, they are reborn in the same spot, but in the Umbral realm. Dying again in the world of the dead will send players back to the most recent Vestige.
How To Upgrade Umbral Lamp In Lords Of The Fallen
Upgrading the Umbral Lamp is possible byoffering some Antediluvian Chisels to Molhu in Skyrest Bridge. The creature cannot be found in Axiom, so players must travel to Umbral and climb the stairs near the Skyrest Bridge Vestige rest point to find him. Antediluvian Chisels are not found until later on, so early-game players won’t be able to upgrade their Umbral Lamp just yet.
Offering Antediluvian Chisels and upgrading the Umbral Lamp willadd more Soulflay charges, meaning players can yank out enemies' souls more often, as well asadd more Sockets to insert Umbral Eyeswhich help to enhance the Umbral Lamp abilities.

Lords of the Fallenis out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
